Expo 2005 Aichi was held just outside of city of Nagoya in Aichi from March 25 to September 25, 2005. Over 100 countries, companies and government organizations participated with pavilions showcasing ideas or technologies loosely related to the theme of the expo "Natures Wisdom".

By all accounts the Exposition was a success attracting over 20 million visitors over its six  month run.
